Another solid effort by the Riders. They stomped on Hamilton 38-11 in front of another sold out crowd at Mosaic Stadium. Kerry Joseph only played a half and a little bit but it was another productive afternoon for the Saskatchewan quarterback as he threw for 260 yards and a touchdown while running for two others. Saskatchewan is now 11-5 on the season--still 3 back of first place BC and must hope the Lions lose both of their remaining games with the Riders winning both of theirs to finish first. Saskatchewan's next game is in Edmonton on Friday.

Submitted by Mitchell Blair on October 20, 2007 - 8:20pm.Can the Riders make it 4 in a row or does Hamilton win its first road game of the year in what is their last chance. It should be a raucous crowd at Mosaic as they salute their football team for clinching a home playoff game--the team's first since 88 as you all know. Here's what I'll watch for Sunday afternoon

Sold Out!(Again)
Submitted by Brendan McGuire on October 19, 2007 - 2:47pm.A fifth straight sellout for the Roughriders on Sunday. The last tickets for the Hamilton have been snapped up leaving just the season finalee and a home playoff game(keep your fingers crossed) with tickets still available. As of Sunday, Including preseason, the Roughriders will have played in front of 6 sellouts this season with 2 more likely by the end of the year. Only 3 home games have NOT been sold out all season.
GO STAMPS GO!!!!!

Cates questionable for Sunday
Submitted by Brendan McGuire on October 18, 2007 - 2:41pm.A foot injury to Wes Cates held the running back out of practice today and might even prevent him from playing in Sunday's game versus Hamilton. Even so, coach Kent Austin isn't ready to annoint Neal Hughes as the replacement to Chris Szarka. Coach Austin has thought of a number of scenarios which would include bringing Henri Childs back into the lineup in the event Cates cannot play. It seems certain that Corey Holmes will make his first start of the year at tailback.
