The Saskatchewan Roughriders have made their second cut in main camp.
Veteran offensive tackle Belton Johnson has been released by the Riders. Johnson was entering his fourth year in the CFL. Over the last two years Johnson has suffered various injuries and spent more time on the injured list than he did on the roster.
Head Coach Ken Miller says the team will likely have three offensive tackles on the roster in the regular season and Johnson was fourth on the depth chart.
Dan Goodspeed, Wayne Smith and Joel Bell will likely get the majority of the reps at tackle during Sunday's game against the B.C. Lions in a fight for the starting spots.
