SGEU is taking its beef with Saskatchewan's new labour laws right to the UN.
Through it's national organisation the union that represents many of the province's public servants has lodged a complaint with the UN's International Labour Organisation.
And the national union President Larry Brown contends bills 5 and 6 make legislation extremely unbalanced and the complaint is valid.
The ILO can take up to nine months to report its findings and the Government does get a chance to respond.

Wow
Isn't it common practice to fight a new law in your own country's courts before you complain to an unelected international body?
I guess this means that they've already determined that the laws are constitutional in Canada.
