The Saskatchewan Roughriders will spend the day in Saskatoon. The team is holding a practice at Griffiths Stadium from 1-3. From 12-1245, there will be an autograph session. The team will bus it back to Regina on Sunday where they will get back onto Taylor Field for just one practice. Instead of the normal two-a-days, the team will hold just one workout tomorrow before embarking on the Juvenile Diabetes Walk on a Cure. The entire team-including staff--will join Juvenile Diabetes Spokesperson John Chick on the run.

Riders in the Community
I think it is really outstanding to see John Chick and all of his teammates support a worthy cause like Juvenile Diabetes. It shows committment to not only the community, but to themselves. It is events like these that raise awareness and funds for a foundation, the team will do it together and that will build team bonding and building. I salute these fine men and women of the Riders organization for doing this. I mean, this is certainly better than fighting in practice all the time, right Edmonton?? Maybe the Eskimos should consider something like the Riders are doing in their community instead of embarrassing themselves on a daily basis like they have been.
