Matt Dominguez says he couldn't believe it when doctors told him after surgery on his left knee that his ACL that was thought to be completely torn was only partially torn and that he could play football again this season. When asked when he could be back on the field, Dominguez responded by saying "I think October will be a month where we get all our receivers back".
While Dominguez is thinking a return could come before the end of this year, GM Eric Tillman is playing it extremely safe. Tillman says "We will err on the side of caution while at the same time being optimistic. Tillman adds in human terms the fact the injury is not as severe as first thought is great and that the rest of the story will unfold as it does. He says getting excited over a possible return is not fair to the Rider Nation.

Don't push it Matt
With all due respect for Matt Dominguez, he said the same thing after his surgery last season. I would love to see Matt back on the field this season, God knows we could use more healthy recievers, but I also do not want Matt to push it and end up with a carreer ending injury.
