Dinwiddie is no slug, so we’d better not go to sleep on him. He holds the career record for the top passer rating in all of D1-A football at 168.9. That’s his average over 3 years as a starter at Boise State, so he was no one year wonder. He was also the WAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2003. He’s another guy who’s too small for the NFL but well suited to the CFL game, except that he only has average or perhaps even below average mobility for a CFL QB. That and the fact that he’ll be starting his first game may mean that we’ll be blitzing him a lot.

Trivia note: He tested positive for marijuana while in college, twice.
