Mitchell Blair

He may not always 'Bleed Green', but he's always brutally honest - never afraid to speak his mind. Mitchell is passionate about the game, and after covering the team since he was old enough to hold a microphone, he's now hangs out with Drew Remenda every night getting paid to do what he's become so good at... having an opinion.

You Can Hear What The Coaches Are Saying

The first event of Grey Cup week goes Wednesday morning at the Royal York Hotel in downtown Toronto(Isn't that where contestants stayed on "Definition"???--How many of you remember that show!!). Bombers coach Doug Berry and Rider coach Kent Austin will answer questions from the many media that have converged on Toronto. It starts at 8 AM Saskatchewan time and can be seen on the league's website www.cfl.ca

Help Chris Knox Get To The Grey Cup

We all remember Chris Knox. He is the young man fighting brain cancer who after the Labour Day Classic was taken into the dressing room by Mike McCullough. (Pictures of this can be found on this sight somewhere in the archives)Friends of Chris are trying to get him to Toronto where he can hopefully see the team win it all but your help is needed. If you can donate some money to help Chris, you are asked to either go to your nearest Affinity Credit Union and write a cheque in the name of Kelly Schermann in trust of Chris Knox.

K-J Is O-K As He Gets Ready For T-O

It could be a very big week for Kerry Joseph. The Rider quarterback should be named CFL MVP and he could be the quarterback of the 2007 Grey Cup champs. He has these thoughts as the team gets ready for what will be a busy Grey Cup week.....

Its Saskatchewans Time To Be On The Big Stage

Hey Bay Street---Meet Main Street

CFL commissioner Marc Cohon said a couple of weeks ago that this year's Grey Cup would be a green Grey Cup--or an environmentally friendly Grey Cup. Message to Mr. Cohon...this indeed will be a green Grey Cup because the Rider Nation is ready to invade the self proclaimed center of the universe. It makes one wonder if the National Guard is ready. I wonder if Toronto even realizes what it is in for. Yonge Street will be awash in green. The Rider Nation will be everywhere you look. I wonder if the CN Tower will have a Rider flag flying atop it before the week is over.

No Retros Next Weekend

I know many of you are already wanting to know if the Riders will wear their retro uniforms for the Grey Cup game and the answer would be no. The Riders --according to the CFL--will wear their white uniforms while the Bombers will wear their dark uniform. It is also believed the Riders will patrol the visiting team sidelines.

Proud Of His Team

4:00 minutes (1.38 MB)

Kent Austin will get the chance to quarterback a team to victory in the Grey Cup and coach that same team to victory. To do it, they had to get past the Lions which was no easy feat. Here's what the coach was saying after the game......
