The Saskatchewan Roughriders will have one of their biggest crowds ever on-hand for Saturday's game against the Montreal Alouettes.
The team is coming off a loss but that doesn't seem to have hampered the enthusiasm of fans. The team announced Friday afternoon that the last of the expanded seating had sold out, meaning a projected attendance of 40,637.
It will be the third-largest regular season crowd in Mosaic Stadium's history, the two higher-drawing ones also coming in years Saskatchewan hosted the Grey Cup. In October of 1995 a game against Calgary with expanded seating brought in 55,438 people. In 2003 43,613 fans took in an October game, also against Calgary.
Kick-off is 2 p.m. Saturday.
