The Saskatchewan Roughriders appear to have found the man they want to be their new offensive coordinator.
Sources tell the Green Zone that former B.C. Lions offensive coordinator and current Simon Fraser University head coach Jacques Chapdelaine will be the new Riders offensive coordinator once the deal is signed, which hasn't happened yet.
This works alongside a report by the Green Zone's Glen Suitor on Wednesday afternoon that Chapelaine has resigned from his position as Simon Fraser's head coach.
Chapdelaine would be taking over for George Cortez after the team announced recently that his contract would not be renewed with the team. Cortez spent the last two seasons in charge of the Riders offence.
