A major drug bust in the Meadow Lake area.
After a six month joint investigation involving a number of police detachments - with the goal of dismantling drug trafficking in the area - two residences on the Flying Dust First Nation and two in Meadow Lake were searched on Friday.
As a result, eight adults and one youth were arrested and charged. Two individuals are still wanted and have warrants out for their arrests.
In all four searches, a total of 106 grams of crack cocaine, $11,000 in cash, four vehicles and four firearms were found.
Those charged include Lori Lachance, Howard Lachance, Lisa Ahenakew, Robert Brent Graham, Aaron Keith Ross, Kaylee Lynn Roy and a 16 year old person.
