The Saskatchewan Roughriders and Hamilton Tiger-Cats defensive co-ordinator Greg Marshall appear to be getting closer to an agreement to make Marshall the new head coach. The two sides have been going back and forth on contract negotiations over the last few days and it is expected that Marshall will be introduced officially by the end of the week, likely Thursday. Marshall has been the defensive co-ordinator of the Tiger-Cats for the last two seasons after a stint as the defensive co-ordinator of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. This will be Marshall's second time wearing Green and White as he served as a defensive assistant and co-ordinator in the mid to late '90s.
