Riders Sign Goodspeed

Offensive Line Gets Deeper
Story Tools

For the second time Dan Goodspeed is a Saskatchewan Roughriders, however, this time he expects it to be for a lot longer.

The offensive tackle was traded to the Riders from Winnipeg last off-season before the Riders traded him minutes later to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for offensive lineman Jordan Rempel. Now the free agent offensive tackle is expected to bolster an already deep roster of offensive lineman.

Goodspeed has been one of the best and most consistent import tackles in the Canadian Football League since current Riders General Manager Brendan Taman brought him into the league with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The Riders have 13 offensive linemen under contract right now.
