Some members of the Roughriders strutted their stuff today at Northgate mall, to show off the team's new vintage jerseys and merchandise.

The 60's inspired jerseys are bringing back the old football and wheat logo.

VP of Sales and Marketing for the Riders Steve Mazurak says Rider Nation has an insatiable appetite for merchandise.  But, he says that's what has helped put the Riders in such a good financial situation.  He says Roughriders gear accounts for 54 percent of merchandise sold through the CFL.

All the teams in the league are taking part in designing their own line of retro gear.

The Riders will wear their jerseys four times this year, but only once at home. You can catch a glimpse on July 18th when they take on Montreal.

retro jerseys

Those are TERRIBLE !!! They obviously changed them for a reason; they should stay with there current jerseys. I wouldn't even accept one of these as a gift...

Retro Jerseys

Man, they are so "AWESOME" !!!!!!
I can't wait to buy one, let alone have one given to me.
I'll bet that the peerson who put in the comment saying he/she wouldn't take one if it were given, would take one in a "HEART-BEAT" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

green is the colour

wouldn't touch the black one with a ten foot pole. Someone can give me the green one, though...would be proud to own that!
