Despite the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ 1-5 record, Rider pride is still very much alive in Western Canada.

There’s even a bar in Cowtown dedication to Rider Nation.

Pazzer’s Pub is in northwest Calgary. Owner Mariane Hayes says the decision to turn a sports bar into Saskatchewan Roughriders headquarters was an easy one.

“I don’t think there’s a greater fan in the CFL then a Roughrider fan,” she said.

“There’s Newfie bars here and all the other kind so we thought we would be a little central spot for us to kind of congregate.”

Pazzer's Pub is located at 1-5032 16th Ave.
