It's another week of Willy or won't he.

Darian Durant was back on the practice field Wednesday morning, as the Roughriders start to get ready for the Calgary Stampeders on Sunday. He didn't do too much though, taking part in a few snaps with the first team offense, but against the scout team. When it came to drills against the defense, Drew Willy was the man behind centre.

"Chances of him playing is better than last week," said head coach Corey Chamblin. "I don't want to put a percentage on it, but I'm very confident he might play this week."

It appears that Wednesday's schedule for Durant was planned, at least according to Chamblin, but we have heard that one before.

"He feels pretty good right now, the biggest thing is that he doesn't have a set back," said Chamblin. "Desire is one thing, just have to make sure his body is agreeing with what his mind wants to do."

While Chamblin is playing it safe, Durant is feeling a little more confident.

"I'll be there," said Durant. "I feel good, I feel a hell of a lot better than I did last week."

Durant did admit that he knew basically when they landed in Montreal that he wouldn't be playing, as his hip flexor really tightened up on the flight.

"I knew once game time came it would be tough for it to loosen up," said Durant, who is happy to be at home this week, so he has the extra day of rest before the game.

We should know for sure over the next couple of days if Durant is actually able to go or not, as day two and three are usually where more work gets done on the actual game plan.
